A modified tummy tuck is one in which the muscle walls or the abdominal skin requires repairs. It is more invasive than a mini-tummy tuck, but certainly less extensive than the more common, standard tummy tuck. Recovery time and length of surgery may be longer with this type of procedure versus a mini-tummy tuck.
