Excessive Bleeding or Hemorrhage from Tummy Tuck – Risk

Excessive bleeding or hemorrhage is another possible risk or complication of tummy tuck. Tendency to over-bleed can be detected even during the consultation period since pre-surgery laboratory tests will determine bleeding risk factors. In the rare instance that something does go wrong even after the screening, medications that stop bleeding will be administered, and in certain instances, blood transfusion may be required, but this is rare as the volume of blood loss during this type of surgery is usually not significant.

This blog is loaded with lots of very useful stuff into it! Many thanks to you for informing me of all the complications of tummytuck before I go in to get my procedure in a few weeks. Absolutley felt like I had a surgeon explaining these stuff to me. Hope you don’t mind if I come back to ask more questions? Thanks a lot!
