Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) from Tummy Tuck – Risks

Deep vein thrombosis, which is also rare but possible, occurs due to prolonged immobility after surgery. Even though a patient will be on bed rest immediately following surgery, if a patient does not move around soon after surgery, or move around enough in the dew days following surgery, blood clots can form in the body. This would require immediate attention as there is a tendency for the clot to dislodge and flow through the bloodstream into the lungs. However, the risks of this can be reduced with a highly trained medical staff, proper documentation and early detection. In addition, certain drugs which can counteract this type of complication can be used, as well as a stocking, which helps prevent clot formation.

your blog is very nice nice and well written. Thanks for this insight into cosmetic surgery procedures. By any chance, is there any doctor you’d recommend for tummy tucks in TX?

Your weblog is actually pretty effectively written and organized. Do you by any chance have speaking engagements to discuss other medical issues such as this, or specifically about plastic surgery procedures or cosmetic surgery procedures?
