Unfavorable anesthesia reactions, although rare, are more common in smokers when it does occur. This is because smokers are already predisposed to more breathing complications, which may worsen as the anesthesia takes effect. Other than that, an expert anesthesiologist will take every aspect of your health into consideration prior to administering the anesthesia. It is advisable to have a consultation session with your anesthesiologist for a complete assessment before the surgery. He or she will need to know if you have an underlying heart or breathing problem. Don’t forget to inform your anesthesiologist if have any drug and/or non-drug allergies, or if you are hypersensitive to any medications. Allergies to drugs are the most common reason for anesthesia reactions. During the surgery, the anesthesiologist will monitor you intensively. With proper documentation and observation, the chance of any reactions from anesthesia will be diminished.

Hey, I ran into your page from stumbleupon. It’s not blog post I would typically read, but I loved your thoughts on it. Thanks for making an article worth reading!
Would love to constantly get updated informatiopn from you. Have you had any experience with no cut tummy tucks or laser tummy tucks. I’m guessing they are safer. Do you know of anyone that is good with them and other tummy tucks in NY? Thanks you very much.
Your blog is spectacular. Ok, it’s really nice. I’ve been bothered about anesthesia reactions with tummytuck, which had made me wonder about laser tummy tuck or no cut tummy tuck. I guess those are relatively new, but I can imagine that no cut tummy tuck and laser tummy tuck will make anesthesia reactions a mute point. I wish surgeons will refine plastic surgery procedures to make it easier and less painful
Nice, this is definitely well presented. A lot to think about. Thank you for a well written piece. This makes me consider tummytuck a lot more.
I totally agree with this post, more out of personal experience than being an expert. I wish I had seen this prior to my surgery.. believe me, it could have made things much easier for me. But nonetheless, I had my surgery, had a crazy recovery period, but am doing so well at this point. Thanks to all the information I’ve gotten from you over the past couple of months. Great read as I’ll be checking back to see what to keep my tummy tuck result intact.. like you said “After tummy tuck” does matter as well.. Happy Holidays to You!
Your post really made me think! Have you got anymore reading you will recommend? I guess I’ll keep coming back to see what else you have to say. I will be going in for surgery at the end of the spring and I want to be as prepared as possible. Thanks for an excellent resource.
I had to spend a serious amounts of time to read through all your pages.. truly loved your write-up. Very beneficial to me. I was worried about DVT, still worried about it, but at least, you’ve done a good job of making it easier to understand. Now, if only I had the money to finance my tummy tuck..:) lol.
Wow.. Just wanted to say fantastic blog! Thanks a lot! Now I know how to prevent excessive bleeing from a tummytuck. At least I am aware to ask my doctor for more details on how to prevent this. Thanks for taking time to present this information. I also wanted to know if you can write some articles on the prices of tummy tucks as I’ve recently been comparing tummy tuck prices and I wanted to know your opinion. Great read all the way. Estella
