Seroma is when fluid accumulates in between the walls of the abdomen and the skin covering it. This is also rare, but if it does occur, the surgeon will just apply additional methods to drain more fluids. If the fluid is infected, your surgeon may put you on oral antibiotics to make sure that the infection is controlled and eradicated.
