Asymmetry is not so much of a risk factor as it is a complication. Since plastic surgery is a human act, it is possible that after the surgery, the results may not be symmetrical, based on the surgeon’s cut. The belly button may be slightly off-center. This may also be based on your body’s natural contour, your fat deposits, and muscle tone. Usually, asymmetry can be corrected at a later time by the surgeon if you desire, or, if it is not bothersome, it will tend to blend in to give you a more natural look.

Once more, great presentation of the risk of tummytuck. I’ll be getting my surgery tomorrow and cant wait to emerge with a smaller waistline..
The complications of tummytuck are a little scary, but am glad I found out before getting my surgery. I am due for surger in two weeks and I couldn’t be more excited at getting a flatter tummy. Yeah!
I wondered about necrosis from tummytuck but my surgeon told me it was very rare. Thanks for this informatiove article because I can now compare notes with my surgeon
Anaesthesia reactions as part of cosmetic surgery procedures is the main reason why I’ve been scared about tummytucks. Well, that and the prices of tummy tuck. I’ll bookmark this site as I weigh my options a lot more..
Thanks a lot. Certainly learned a lot from this article. It’s amazing how many people do not think or even know about the possible complications of anesthesia. Great read and I will postmark to come back to you.
